Biography
Jerry L. León, M.D. is recognized as an internationally renowned physician with extensive experience in regenerative medicine, cellular therapies and biologics. After earning his medical degree at Ponce School of Medicine, and completing his surgical internship at University District Hospital - UPR in Puerto Rico, Dr. León completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York.
Dr. León is board certified in physical medicine as well as rehabilitation through The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is considered as one of the pioneers in the clinical use of adult stem cells and other biologically based therapies to treat orthopedic and spinal injuries. Dr. León’s revolutionary practice is based on an integrative combination of state-of-the-art conventional, regenerative, orthomolecular and functional medicine. He uses cutting edge interventional techniques for the precise delivery of adult stem cells and other biologics to help repair / restore musculoskeletal and neurological tissue function.
Dr. León’s work spans various countries including Puerto Rico (USA), Dominican Republic, India, Chile and others. Besides being an international speaker, Dr. León also works educating and training physicians in multiple aspects of regenerative medicine, cellular medicine and the clinical applications for orthopedic and neurological conditions.
